Availabilities 2.0
With app version 2.22.0, availabilities work more like the entries in a calendar app: you can edit each one individually, and you get a few new options for describing your training.
Editing an availability
Open any availability and make your change. When you save, you can choose whether the change applies to:
- only this availability - a one-off adjustment for a single day, or
- the profile as well - so the same change is carried over to your availability profile.
This means you can tweak a single day without affecting your recurring profile, or update both at once.
Manage everything from the calendar
You can now manage all of your availabilities directly from the calendar — including adding new availabilities and removing existing ones from a profile. There’s no need to jump into a separate screen: everything happens in one place, right where you plan your days.
New options
When creating or editing an availability, you can now also:
- mark an availability as a training camp,
- set open water for swim availabilities, and
- specify the equipment you have for strength & core availabilities.
We’ve also simplified how availabilities are displayed and added.
Seeing an availability twice?
During the switch to the new behaviour, you may notice a day where the multiple availabilities appear - once as your manually adjusted version, and once as the original from your profile.
This happens only for availabilities you adjusted before the update. Previously, adjusting a day automatically hid the profile availabilities for that day. That’s no longer the case - each availability now stands on its own - so both can briefly show up side by side.
To resolve it:
- Compare the two availabilities for that day.
- Remove the one that no longer fits - usually the one from the profile, since your manual adjustment is normally the version you want to keep.
That’s it. The day will then show only the correct availability.
Why it’s worth doing
While both remain, your training planning works from ambiguous data: an AI Coach plan may be built on the wrong availability, and if you train with a coach, they’ll see conflicting entries for the same day. A quick check keeps everything accurate.
